Diss Camera Club, 2011 Exhibition
Where is the exhibition
We’ve been invited back to exhibit at Suffolk Wildlife Trust at Redgrave and Lopham Fen.
Find more about the Suffolk Wildlife Trust on their web site (opens in a new page).
The Suffolk Wildlife Trust is publicising the event in their literature, and our Exhibition team are planning publicity from the Club.
Exhibition Dates 2011
Our exhibition this year is on display during:
- The weekend of 24-25 September; and
- The weekend of 1-2 October
Subject Themes
Photos submitted for display at the exhibition must fit one
of the following categories:
- Macro
- Landscape/Seascape
- Nature
- Black & White
Technical matters
- Mount Colour - must be CREAM
- Mount Size - must be 305mm x 405mm or in the old imperial measure: 12 x 16"
- Image Size - the size you choose must fit in the mount, so you have some flexibility about the actual image size. Obviously A4 will fit, but you may decide that a smaller size in the mount suits your subject. Alternatively you may want to choose slightly larger than A4, for a different presentation effect, with less of the mount as a border.)

each mounted photograph.
Orchard Frames are happy to mount your photos, but could they
please be submitted prior to 20th August so they can cope with the
extra volume.
Entry fee:
£5 per person - The entry fee is to cover drinks and nibbles on the
preview night of 23rd September.

We’ll be busy assembling the exhibition as soon as the Club season starts in September. So enjoy your summer with your camera and focus (oops, dreadful pun) on taking some fantastic pictures you’d be proud to show-off!

- Late entries and those in excess of the 2 stated, will be housed in the cradle at the exhibition.
- Should you be unable to attend the first meeting could you please arrange with the Club Secretary to deliver your two (max) entries with the £5 entry fee .
Number of photographs:
We hope to hang at least two per member and the others will be in a box for people to look at and can also be for sale
Sale price:
£15 per photograph
The exhibition team will be meeting shortly to talk about presentation, labelling, cataloguing. If any of you have any suggestions on how we should label, catalogue, etc, please let us know and these will be considered. Please remember that if you want a lot of detail to be shown this must be done in a clear manner and may take some time for us to produce, so please keep your ideas simple.
Important: check your diary and volunteer to staff the exhibition.
