About me
- About me
I began photography as a hobby in 2002 when I bought a Minolta Dimage 7 digital bridge camera. My main interests in photography are Landscape and Macro shots of flowers. Though I try and dablle in other areas these are my passion.
Having moved up to a Digital SLR 2 years ago (Sigma SD9) which I bought second hand I have taken the plunge and further committed to my photography by purchasing a medium format Mamiya kit with the money I earnt selling the image licenses of a series of flower photographs I took to the company I have been working for. This was specially so that I could be assured I had the quality in the shots I liked that is necassary to make large prints with. Once I get my portfolio in order I hope to begin selling more prints and licensing my images through stock libraries.
My other interests and day job are centered around complimentary medicine, meditation and spirituality. I have a keen interest in nature, Native American and other indigenous people's culture, philosophy and practices.Other interests include Overtone chanting, buddhism & Tibet and living life from the heart.
