East Coast Resorts

 

Guests:  Rosemary & Peter Salt

 

Rosemary & Peter return with their amazing collection of archive photography.   Tonight we  have a ‘jolly trip’ from Hunstanton around the Norfolk coast to Lowestoft looking at the changes in these resorts, the fashions, entertainment, fishing, shipwrecks and lifeboat men as well as coastal erosion.

For tonight’s project bring along two pictures depicting the above subject.   We have invited an outside judge along to look, comment and choose the pictures he or she feels fits the criteria.

Portrait Night

Barry will bring his lights along and guide us in our endeavours to capture a winning portrait. Tina’s daughter Rebecca has volunteered to come along and sit for us.  However if anyone else would like to sit for us as well, just ask.

Yes, now it is your turn to bring your film along, your pictures in motion.   Followed by nominations for the best film and winner of the Diss Camera Club Oscar

24 January Extra night -

Photoshop for Beginners.

This will cover some areas of using Layers and Masks in PHOTOSHOP. Also a useful kick-start for those members who have booked on the PHOTOSHOP course to be held on the 18th February.

Laptops not required.

Bring up to two pictures.   Write your title on the back and we will all try to guess what it is.

Saturday 18 February Photoshop Training Day
 

Photoshop training day at Grasmere - only for those members who have booked and paid for the course. Please bring your laptops loaded with Photoshop so that you can get full benefit from the training.
